An Early Years collaboration with the Hunt Museum, Limerick, in association with the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs under their Co-operation with Northern Ireland scheme & The Start Right Limerick Project
Deliver: Creative, age-appropriate recourses/activities, workshop with free-play & structured engagement, for two year olds and their carers, inspired by the museums’ prehistoric collections. Deliverables: Lesson plan; Pilot sessions/ evaluations; Docent training; Documentation & Feedback
Outcomes: Large Viking “play-scape” and puppet, to aid bespoke creative play session for 2 year olds and their carers in the Hunt Museum. Three complementary creative encounter outreach sessions at Knockalisheen Accommodation Centre with a focus on sensory play for child and parent.
